The Yankees and their patchwork pitching staff are really rolling.

they need to aim for the divison, otherwise they may get lost in the wild card. Too many teams competing for the wild, so its not a safe bet. It does not look like Pavano will be back, so the pitching staff is more or less settled. Brown may come back, but Torre has Chacon, Mussina, Johnson for the ALCS. Al Leiter and Wright can step in if someone gets injured. The Yankees are set for a September push. No more excuses.

"We better fix it come September or we're not going to see October," said Damon. "We need to fix it as soon as possible. We know we're getting some help back soon. We know Foulke is pitching [on Minor League rehab], we'll call up a few more guys, add some depth to the bullpen. September is a very critical month. The rest of August is pretty critical for us also."

This (and similar) thread(s) are about as enjoyable as a wet fart.

    Thought provoking? No.

    Interesting? No.

    Churlish? Yes.

    Keep up the fine work.

Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

For it to be amusing would require it to have some originality.

Spammy posts the same garbage over and over and over...and all he likes to do is try to yell louder and the whole 'dork and a 1/2' thing is the perfect example of this. I remember that glorious week and a half stretch where he disappeared from this forum....life was good!

I wish he'd permanently disappear from this message board.

And we can thank spammy for running it into the ground.

I remember the week and a half he was gone...this forum was actually a breeding ground for good discussions without a 'OMG DID YOU SEE WHAT THAT YANKEE DID!' threads starting up every 5 minutes.

I wish spammy would look at what he's doing to the community and just kill the spam.
