Is there any FREE online Baseball Card Price Guides ???

I have some old cards from the 60-80s and would like to get a ballpark idea of what they are worth...........

From what I understand, BB card prices dropped significantly after the last strike image

and all of my D Strawberry Rookie cards are no longer worth anything due to his little run ins with the law......

  • I'm not trying to be sarcastic here, but EBAY will give you an excellent idea of what your cards are worth (i.e., what someone will pay for them).

    Good luck!

    sandhawk,

beckett has a free priceguide online at www.beckett.com.. you have to look at the left side of the page at the bottom of the menu it says "Free Card Lookup"..

it only lets you look up one card at a time, but it's better than nothing..

as jmkbb said, doing a completed auctions search on ebay is the way to get the most realistic pricing.. image

Many of the formerly "hot" rookies from that era -- Doc Gooden, Eric Davis, Jose Canseco, Will Clark, Bo Jackson, Mike Greenwell, Wally Joyner, Gregg Jefferies, etc. -- are in the same boat.

As it turns out, most of the ones that have any significant value now are the ones that didn't get anyone excited in the first few years. Hmm, gotta be a lesson there somewhere about speculating on rookies!
