Graded Card Bags/Sleeves for PSA Holders

Hi all,

Maybe I'm getting too particular, but I'm just not happy with the "one-size-fits-all grading company holders" sleeves that I have. I've been using the Ultra Pro ones, as I found them to be the closest fit for PSA holders among the widely available brands. I've noticed that the more cards I add to my collection that the sleeves tend to get wrinkled and dog-eared as I move the cards around. It's not keeping me up at night, but it's a little annoying

It seems to me that a long while back on this board, there was some discussion on this very issue, and that someone knew someone who custom made sleeves that fit PSA Holders snugly...I know they are out there, because I received PSA graded cards in them from two different eBay sellers last year. If I recall correctly, there was no resealable adhesive strip on the back and they were held down with scotch tape. They did fit the holder like a glove though.

Does anyone know if anybody makes these and where they are available? Any insight would be appreciated.

Todd

I bought a few cases some time ago from a dealer in LA, and resold them on these boards. He had them custom made, and as far as I know they are still the only perfect-fit baggies on the market. The bad news is, I sold out of them and it's a good 120 miles of driving and my whole saturday morning to get more. If I do make it back up there, I'll buy a few more cases and offer them on the boards.

  • Thanks for the reply Joe. I bet there are lots of folks on here who would be interested if you ever make it back to that dealer.

I've bought 3 bags of these twice from Joe for a total of 600. First time they had a red pull-off strip over the adhesive and were labeled Sea King. Second batch had neither of these identifying marks, but were the same size. I've been careful to re-use them as I sold cards so I would not run out if the supply dried up. They are perfect side to side, a bit long top to bottom, but it doesn't matter 'cause you just fold it over snugly and have a bit extra on the back when you seal the adhesive. I love 'em.
