Thanks all--Lynch, I think I will get the gold piece to go with it. They are pretty cheap,as far as gold goes. And Steve, I wish it were bigger too. I'm looking at a medal now that is 4 inches. That's a little big for my taste but I really like the design.

The Uruguay 1930 5 pesos gold coin (also for the Constitution Centennial) would make an excellent companion piece for the medal.

The gold coin has been easier to find in the last couple of years. I think a small hoard must have come on the market & is now slowly being dispersed.
I can't recall ever seeing another example of your medal, so I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be harder to find than the coin.
Nice catch. Had I seen it, you would have had to pay significantly more to get it.
