Anybody dealt with "Deanscards"? Good or bad!

Just wondering if anybody has done business with www.deanscards.com....they are online only and according to the website are from Cincinnati......

They seem to have a good selection of cards and give you 14 days to return....but I don't want to waste my time if they can't grade.

Thanks for any/all input!

I purchased some 52 Bowman's from Dean. I do remember that in a few instances he knocked down the price of the card because he felt it was overgraded. They were all commons, no high dollar cards. When in doubt ask for scans, I don't think he'd have a problem sending them to you. Seemed like a nice guy.

I would recommend. Dean's a great guy. He does overgrade but takes returns no questions asked. Call him, he is at the phone and ready to answer questions during business hours.

I have dealt with Dean more then once...........( for 72 Topps baseball)........

...I have been more then happy with his grades and prices.

I had a recent complaint about a low pop common which had a minor flaw and was not the grade it was supposed to be............I got immediate credit with no questions asked.......( the card was returned)

.....always fast shipping and personal service.......

Thanks for the thread and showing me the way to Deanscards. I have been looking for a few cards to finish and upgrade my 1966 Topps football set for years and Dean had them. At this point I wasnt worried about what the cards would cost me, (commons at $3.75) I bought 5 cards and shipping combined was well worth it. I'll let you know the grading when I receive them. 39 years after starting the set I finished last night.

Purchased several raw 1969 Topps and had no problem. Very reasonably priced and easy to deal with.

Please let me know when you get the cards, how the grading was.....

My biggest problem is I'm putting together a 1958 Topps baseball set in EX/MT or better, but I'm to happy with the grading of PSA 6's in regards to centering. They tend to be all over the place. So everytime I place orders from online sellers I get these cards that would grade PSA 6, but are not centered enough for my taste. When I try and return them I get the same story from the sellers " They would grade a 6" and when I let them know I'm looking for centered copies only. I get the "aren't we all" or "if it was centered better it would be a 7, and the price would go up". I know thats not true, because I have several very well centered PSA 6's. I just wish these websites would scan the vintage cards. I wouldn't mind asking for scans if I only needed a couple, but he has 40 cards that I need. I'm a little over 60% complete.

I'm glad you found some cards that you need....hope they work for you!

Just let me know how everything goes....
