    Not in general, but I think that just like last year, one game does a season shape.

    Last year, Chelsea beat Man. Utd. 1-0 at this stage of the race. The Red Devils were never a factor in the race after that game. Even they point to that game as a reason they lost their confidence and tanked. Arsenal did not suffer that indignity until later on when United swept them.

    Chelsea may well have to face defending champion Liverpool in the first round.

    They do face Liverpool in the round robin section. It doesn't matter who they play in the contest. All of the opponents are tough here - even Arsenal.
