It's really ashamed whats happened to these two guys. I'll never forget watching Goodens first game at Houston. The guy was absolutely an electric pitcher back then

    I thought you finally meant THEY were growing up! I guess not. Hey things could be worse for Doc. Rather than drinking every night he could still have to be working like the other guy who started when Doc did. What was that guys name. Roger something?

    I agree with you - he was quite a pitcher at times throughout his career. Both of those guys could of, and should of, made so much more of the opportunities they were given.

    Such a waste. Really is a shame. Of course they weren't the first sports stars to go astray with alcohol and drugs, and unfortunately they certainly won't be the last.
