Please forgive my ignorance but my sons just recently got back from Sweden and this was in their pocket change.

Its smaller than a nickel but bigger than a penny and very thick. The edge reeding is only at the 12-3-6-9 o'clock position.
Not for the biggest, dumbest, stupidest question I thought I'd never ask.....Is it worth anything?

At first I thought it might be gold because the weight seemed unusually heavy for such a small coin. (DUH! What was I thinking?
Yes, it came from circulation.
My youngest also brought back some paper money which I tried to convert at the local bank but they wanted something like 25% which I thought was ridiculous so I just kept em.
Banks! Can't live with em, can't live without em! I guess I'm lucky they didn't charge an "asking" fee!
