1954 Topps Question

I have a partial high grade 1954 Topps set that I am going to sell in order to re-focus my collection. I am going to sell the cards on eBay. Most of the cards are graded by PSA. However, I have a several of the key cards graded by SGC and GAI. For example, I have a gorgeous Aaron rookie graded SGC 88. It is centered with great color and gloss. I also have a very nice centered Kaline rookie graded GAI 8. Is there a premium on 1954 Topps cards graded by PSA rather then SGC or GAI? I would guess that GAI sells for less. However, I think that SGC is comparible in quality with PSA for cards from the 1950s. I would hate to crack the cards out of the case, but, I do not want to leave money on the table.
Thanks,
David

David,
You will probably be leaving money on the table with anything other than PSA.The SGC could get close but it should cross as an 8 pretty easily. The most prevelant school of thought is that GAI's sell for less and will not cross in their slabs. If submitted raw, they usually will down grade one grade.I am however,no expert. This is just what seems to be the consensus of most guys that I talk to.I stay away from GAI altogether myself, even though there are "deals"to be had. Hope his helps.

I would be interested in the sgc 88 Aaron. Email me at hbsturn@hotmail.com. Of course feel free to send pm. Thanks, Harold Sturner
