    There's a nice group of OPC BB collectors here.

    I have wax boxes back to 1976 but am not a set full set collector but rather individual star cards.

    Are you doing the 75 OPC set? That's a great grouping you picked up! Congrats!

    Mike, Im not putting together a set, but rather accumulating graded mint examples of OPCs of the 70s! When I can buy 30 year old PSA 9 1/1s for less than 10 bucks a piece, I'll just "salt some away for that rainy day"! LOL!

    Interesting story on OPC - I looked for a long time to find a nice copy of the Winfield OPC RC but would get beat out - I was looking on a nonebay auction and this card was buried amongst autos and GU stuff and I picked it up for 67 bucks.

    I've shown it before but it's a great lesson in patience and knowing that something will pop up when you least expect it!

    I understand about the picking up items for another time - my closet is loaded! image

    All I can say is W O W on the 74 OPC Winfield....That is super nice.

    The OPCs are very interesting to me. I always loved opening them in the 80s. They always seemed crisper that the topps issues.

    Those are some nice 75s and you can not beat the price. Is there the rough cut issue with 75 OPCs? Are the back a brighter color than the Topps as with hockey?

    Yes, I have plenty of '75 OPCs PSA 9s with rough cuts!

    Stingray, I'm looking at my 1975 OPC #320 Pete Rose PSA 9 & the 1975 Topps #320 Pete Rose PSA 9;

    ...the OPC has a "tan" back, while the Topps has a "grey" back.
