It's at 110% of SMR now. I'd say 1250-1350 range.

I was fortunate and bought my 10 for about $920 when he went through a brief tough spell. Then sold my 9 for 140% of SMR when he was back in usual Cy form. eBay is a world of wild swings ... what sells for $10 today might go for $3.75 tomorrow -- or $18!

The last one of these sold for $1225 about a week ago. SMR has just seen a bump to $1,050, but it's always necessarily a few months behind the market even on the cards that are tracked monthly.

Is it me or are there a ton of high end Clemens rookies on Ebay? If so, do you think this has anything to do with the steriod rumor? The sellers could be taking precautionary actions just in case, why I hope and pray it's not, that he's one of the next named.

It's been like this for over a year, with or without the false rumors. I think it's more tied into the fact that he's competing for another Cy Young this year more than anything else.

There has been a ton of high-end everything on eBay from about 1972 on forward. I hope we run out of vending cases someday.

It's at $1500 now, and I think it will crack $2000. Not only is Clemens's legend growing every start, high-end stuff is stronger than ever. Plus, Sandiegowill has a devoted client base that seems to bid higher for cards from him than elsewhere.
