The dead king gets his own font

From Moneta-L:

i spent almost all day today working on a new font that will
hopefully be of some use to fans of medieval coins. it's
called "Aethelred", an english king (there were two actually) from an
earlier period but the name sounded a bit less mundane that edward or
henry - the 13th century english kings whose era typeface for
hammered pennies i actually used in coming up with the letters.

although modeled on english hammered pennies i'm hoping the font will
be of use to collectors of other contemporary european coins. if not,
maybe a nicely worded post could get me to add in more letters :-)

- there are no upper case letters with the exception of H, which
paradoxically returns a lowercase letter when you use shift-H
- there are no J's or U's. typing these return I's and V's instead
- i couldn't find a Y so i didn't render one. I made up the Z so i
don't know if it's accurate
- i added a few dot clusters and symbols - get them by typing numbers

um, that's it. would love feedback so i can improve it but please
write onlist. my inbox has over 100 unanswered emails!

Rumor was when he (E) Aethelred was baptized he had an accident. Course he was nothing but a baby then...
