I like this set, for some strange reason - and high grades are tough to come by in 73's (anyone have a 73 Yaz PSA 9?). But that is quite a mind-blower - especially when I bought a PSA 9 Ryan from the same year for less than half of where it is now.

The card's a beauty! If the action is that hot and heavy now - what is the snipe set at?!

These are the kind of cards I look but can't touch.

Aren't the black backs really prone to chipping along the edges like the front of the '71s? I was under the impression that this set was just as tough in high grade due to that.

Ya know, I was thinking of re-focusing my collecting to the "660 card sets of my youth" (1973 - 1977 Topps) in PSA 9. I think I'll stick with PSA 8 (maybe 7). Or maybe raw VG+ with a little writing on them.

There are five bidders at over $580, so the next one will likely sell nicely as well.
