Did NGC blow it on this one?

Linky

Maybe it's the lighting and the photography, but this one looks like a VF to me, definitely NOT an XF.

Or am I all wet?

Think the grader could get that slab in his mouth?
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

It certainly looks more VF than XF to me.

Not sure about the strike, though. Maybe that was a factor?

  • I agree with the VF, not too sure how the XF came about, probably weak XF...

I am tempted to added that it's a major offstrike... ;P

VF even seems generous to me.

Uh yeah... I'm all over that one. Not.

What a bunch of B.S. I'm tempted to submit an offer of $49.00 just to piss them off. The only problem is that given the actual value of the coins, I might just win, and then I'd have to shell out the forty-nine bucks.

Color me stupid, but I'm familiar with Krause for world, Charlton for Canadian, Seaby or Coincraft for UK, and Red Book or preferably Gray Sheet for U.S... WTF is the "Collector's Universe Price Guide"???
