Has anyone ever had any dealings with these dealers?

Roger Neufeldt, Sports Memories, Oklahoma, or Kyle Boetel, from Aurora Colorado?

Just curious. Both seem to have some good raw vintage stuff, but their prices would suggest it is overgraded.

I looked at Kyle's stuff in Houston this year. A few things seemed slightly overgraded and, yes, his prices were high. But, he led me to believe, that if I spent some $, he would work with me. I found him to be very nice and professional. I was particularly interested in one card that a friend, who is a dealer, told me to pass based on what he was asking.

He's been around a long time and like Levi of 707 a great guy to establish a relationship with if you have particular needs - IMO, they all overgrade to some degree. When they're buying, it looks Exmt - when they go to sell the card - somehow the card becomes Nm!?

Thanks for the reply. I looked at some of Kyle's stuff there too. He had a lot of really nice 50's stuff, but most of it was priced either as an ungraded 8 or an ungraded 7.5. He basically told me that. The stuff that was "ungraded 7.5's" was priced pretty close to SMR prices in PSA 8. I thought he was a nice guy too, but the question is always in the back of my mind: if it's that nice and priced basically as a graded card, why is it not in a holder?

Roger is one of the more established old time dealers in the hobby. He is a very nice man, very knowledgeable and my experience with his prices is that he isn't giving anything away - as you should expect from any good dealer.

    Excellent Mark
Very wise and astute words - a good dealer is not affraid to pay good money for inventory since they practically have it sold the minute it enters their hands IMO.

Roger comes to the Fort shows and is a really nice guy. I bought 3 raw 52 Bowmans from him at the last show. Berra, Crosetti & a Stengel for $250. The Berra & Crosetti came back 6's and the Stengel was a 4 (missed a surface wrinkle there) so I did pretty well for my $250.
