Looks like a bigger-than-2-card pack to me. I would hope that GAI would have marked on the flip if it was a 2-card pack.

The '74's I got did say it on the flip, but the scan was so incredibly bad you couldn't see it, and there was no mention in the description. It is very easy to tell in person, so I think your OK. At the very worst you have a buyback candidate, and they're very good about that.
Why would Topps issue 2 card packs in the '70's? So all cards have any equal chance of being stained by wax or gum?

i emailed the seller on sunday before the auction ended inquring if it was a "fun pack" pack (b/c i thought i had seen 1976 2 card packs in alan rosen's april unopened auction but i just checked the catalog and it was a '74 2-carder, not a 76). anyhoo, the seller (bruceprimeau) emailed me back and told me it was a full pack (which i assume meant the pack had 10 cards, and not that it was merely "full" with 2 of 2 cards). do u plan to crack this pack? if so, let us know what u get! on a side note, i picked up a 59 topps baseball one cent gai 8 and a 59 fleer ted williams gai 7 at the national a couple weeks ago, and the williams pack has a hole/ tear in the bottom left corner (from where the sharp corner of the 46 year old gum must've sliced thru it --post grading, of course, b/c i doubt gai wouldve given it a 7 the way it looks now), but i can just see the corners of the 6 cards thru the opening, and they look razor sharp, like psa 9 corners. the pack still displays really nicely and it only set me back $200, and if i crack it and get 6 psa 8 commons at $42 apiece, we're talking $252 plus, say, whatever the wrapper is worth (i bought a perfect wrapper for 75 bucks a few months back, so i think this one would be worth, say, $40-50. so i think i'd get my money back and then some should i crack it (although i dont know how the top card thats touching the free floating gum pieces looks--at least the gum's not plastered to the card. and who knows what the centering on the cards will be like). i do know the bottom card is #25, a common, but its one of the more classic cards in the set that shows ted piloting the plane in ww2. so, anybody think i should crack this pack or should i leave it alone? i've already got a graded set, so its not as if i would need any of these cards, but it would be kinda fun to go back in time and open a pack of cards from a set that was issued nine years before i was born!
