Greetings:
I am disappointed to announce that this may be the last of the The Coinkat Special sale, but Phase IV may in fact be the most interesting… I was a VAM guy that no one ever paid much attention to because in the old days VAMS were just seen as something that could not be easily understood. That has changed because, as time has passed, others seem to have a greater interest and I have had other things to deal with (OT). I have made it clear to a number of folks that my collecting interests have taken a different turn. As usual, POSTAGE AND INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. It is NOT A SURPRISE to some… but let’s just get to the point… here goes and have fun:
1. 1878 7TF VAM 33- ANACS MS64- A decent example, but was optimistically graded, but has gold rim toning on both sides. It is a nice example but I would not want to pay full 64 money… $179.00 now $159.00 SOLD
2. 1878 7/8 weak PCGS MS63-Nice coin, white and I like it. POSSIBLE UPGRADE. As for the VAM, have fun with this…$146.00 SOLD
3. 1879-s REV of 78 PCGS MS61- Nice toned example that is in the old rattler holder. Well worth the $100 asking price. NOW $89. SOLD
4. 1879 PCGS PL 62- no VAM, just an oversight on a terrific coin that undergraded. Bright white and well worth the $105 asking price. SOLD
5. 1880 VAM 1A- THIS IS A RAW COIN… I like it as a EF45 AND IT IS ORIGINAL. $200. SOLD
6.1880 8/7 VAM 6- ANACS EF45- A decent example for this overdate- $89.00 reduced - now $82.50
7. 1882- 0/S VAM 4 ANACS AU50- A nice original example. $59.00 NOW $51.00 SOLD
8. 1882 PCGS MS64- Nice white example, very PQ but misses 65. $55.00 SOLD
9.1880 VAM 7 ANACS VF35- COMPLETELY ORIGINAL… just overgraded. It is a 30 at best but a wonderful example of a major rarity. $312.50 SOLD
10. 1886-O VAM 1A ANACS AU55- A nice example… well struck, decent luster and worthy of the grade. $279.00 NOW $233.00 SOLD
11. 1891-O VAM 1A- ANACS AU55- flat strike and two reverse spots on the eagle’s wings. This variety is common, but it becomes tough in this grade and higher. $155.00 NOW $135 SOLD
12. 1887-0 VAM 2 ANACS MS 62- Gold obverse and reverse toning. Okay for the grade. $119.00. now $107 SOLD
13. 1899-O VAM 4 ANACS EF45- Two are available. Both are decent. $49.00 now 44.50 SOLD
14. 1921-s misaligned dies. ANACS MS 63. PL OBVERSE WHICH IS RARE for this date. Reverse is weakly struck and typical for the date. It is possible that the obverse die was a die used for striking the Chapman or Zerbe Proofs. PM if interested. $189.00
REGULAR NON-VAMS…
1878-S ANACS MS 63- Heavy toning and color over semi-PL surfaces. I think some might think it is AT. $55.00 SOLD
1879-S ANACS MS 65- Attractive original. A lite spot on the cheek keeps this from 66. Lovely light gold rim toning which is heavier on the reverse. $119.00
1882-O ANACS MS 63- Attractive color with semi PL surfaces. $42.00 SOLD
1886-s PCGS MS-62- spotted and uneven obverse toning. A decent example $279.00 SOLD

1903 ANACS MS 64- Beautiful original coin. Toned with nice rim color…especially the reverse. $109.00 SOLD
NEW ADDITIONS
1886-O PCI (very old label) MS 61- ORIGINAL, lightly toned subdued lustre with fairly clean fields and a decent cheek for the grade. $539. SOLD
