Very nice card - Ray, Bob, Brett - what a legacy!

    Are you doing the set?

Any relation to this guy too?

Wish I could find a 75 PSA 10 for that price.

Yes mike, I've built THE # 1 SET already:

    Stone,

    Don't forget about Aaron Boone.

Edited to say that is one heck of a set. Very nice.

I was underbidder - meant to bid again, but I'm guessing you would not have let me win?

I've got a really nice run of 1976 Topps Phillies cards - but could not imagine putting together a whole graded set!
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    rbd,

That is just an outstanding outstanding set. One of my favorites too, as it represents the "prime" of my collecting years as a youngster. I still remember having them sorted neatly alphabetically by team (Angels, A's, Astros, Braves, Brewers . . . , Twins, White Sox, Yankees) and placed in a 600 count Velveeta cheese box.

I'm not even sure I can name all the major league teams today, but I can tell you them alphabetically in 1976. Same with the NFL (Bears, Bengals, Bills, Broncos, Browns, . . . Steelers, Vikings). What a useless skill.

Here's the other thing I like about the 1974-1977 Topps sets: One series and no stinkin' double prints.

By the way (I'm too lazy to check), are you collecting the 1976 Topps Traded too?

In any case, awesome job image

I quickly got to about 25% on the 1976 set before I realized how long it would take to build one of these seventies monsters (in graded form), let alone a few of them as I tried to do. Quite an achievement rbdjr!
