    Isn't that better than giving up the tying run like your hero (for the moment, at least) Mariano did the other night?

    These threads get more and more pathetic - perhaps reality is sinking in that the Yanks will be watching the postseason this year on their television sets.

    By the way, for a guy who was made into a closer at the last minute, and a guy who has pitched under some trying physical circumstances, he's doing quite well. At least he's out there - unlike 90% of the pathetic Yank staff. And, you'll be watching him in October, I'm sure.

    Team afflicictions or not, you can't diss Schilling. He just keeps coming to the party. Great pitcher.
    Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!
