Silver medal 1895 - commemorating Bismarck’s 80th birthday

- engraver: Otto Oertel
- diameter: 38,5mm
- diameter: 38,5mm
- edge-inscription: BISMARCK SEGENSMÜNZE

obv.: Bismarck with hat

rev.: crowned Germania in front of Friedrichsruh (Bismarck’s villa left)

Proof medal, very few hairlines are visible to the naked eye, more are visible under bright light. Very very hard to find this nice
(most of them have major damages like gouges, scratches or rim defects), almost imossible to find without hairlines.
(Well, I only know of one person that has seen an example without hairlines)

Nicely toned 1901 Bavarian medal commemorating the 80th birthday of Luitpold. I don't know much about it other than this sight lists it as rare...link. Slightly larger than a US quarter and made of silver. What looks like a scratch on the reverse between the flower and the A is actually a die crack, and can also be seen on the medal in the link. $30.00 delivered.

  • Looking for offers on this...

2005 Australian Gold Proof 5 cents.

    Echinda design reverse

    Queen Elizabeth II obverse

    19.41 mm

6.13 grams 24 carat Gold, nearly 1/5 of an ounce.

Max number ever made will be 650.

The Royal Australian Mint has only ever offered gold proof versions of Australia's coinage twice. Once in 2001 and this year of 2005. No one has ever broken up the 2001 set and offered it for sale to the best of my knowledge. I have the gutted remains of a 2005 set that was purchased by a group of collectors and am offering this coin from that.

Please include International registered post in your offer, as this coin is located in Australia.

    Paypal preffered.

Taking a breather for the summer while the prices are soft. I have been busy taking photos (almost 500 complete) and will start up again the week after Labor Day.

    Thanks for asking!

Dead King has been to the Po and is eating catfish.

Sounds scatologically frightening, but the Po is a river in Italy, isn't it? I didn't know they had catfish in it.
