Memory Lane Auction!

Anyone win anything in the memory lane auction that ended last night (err, mid-morning)? The '56 Topps PSA 8 set looked awesome, but it was way out of my price range. I ended up only grabbing the Topps Giants lot, though there were some '48 Bowman PSA 9's that sold for less than they should've, IMO.

I looked at some stuff, but decided that paying the rent was more important this month. Maybe next time for me. Even when I have bid on things on the past, I usually get way outbid. Have to pony up more dinero for some of the vintage football in the next one!
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

I had laugh when I read that catalog cover to cover last week. It was certainly an enjoyable read of great cards and sets (and nicely presented), but thought that very few here would be able to afford anything that was being offered.
