My registry set of Lincoln Memorials, Toto's Treats And Treasures, has been completed. The set is #15 now and I do plan to upgrade it. It may not compare to the top sets in quality. But it will compare to any set in a category of how much it is loved by the owner or of how proud the owner is of it.
Many of the coins were aquired thru auctions from Heritage, Teletrade, David Lawrence and Ebay. I wish
to thank Ebay sellers Telecoin, Dennis Pegg, Gene Kelly, Pine Valley Coins, and Bowtie Coins. I have made
multiple purchases from these guys and all are very professional.
I would also like to extend a very special thanks to Jaime Haletky. Besides supplying several coins in this set, he also has shared his keen insight and knowledge of our hobby with me on several occasions.
And a special salute to four of my fellow registry set owners. As I was building this set, I found myself constantly viewing their sets and secretly competing with these sets. So these guys became a benchmark
for my set and provided great competition and valuable knowledge. Thanks go out to Mustangman, Son Of
A Gunk, Rabbitracks, and Water Sports.

<< <i>Great job! I love seeing complete sets with nice photos! You got some especially nice coins. (Did you get that 1961 from me?). Also thanks for the thanks! >>
I aquired my ms66 1961 from Bowtie Coins. However, I did aquire an ms65 1961 from you. It was in my set
until I was fortunate enough to upgrade. That coin now lives with linencards.
Also pm sent regarding raw coins.

I didn't remember selling it to you, but that explains why the cert# is familiar! I got that coin graded but traded it to BTC in a big deal involving me getting an ms67 1965! But then I got a better opportunity as Dwight was selling all but his date set, and he could use the 1965, so I traded the 1965 and also my 67rd 64-d for his 63-d,72-s, and 73-d.

An ms67 1965?
BTW, I saw that 1983 ms68 that's in the RHB Memorial Set. Wow! Did you find that in a roll?

Yep, but then in trading it I got an ms67rd 1973-d
Yes, I found 2 ms68 83-p's in a batch of 80's and 90's rolls bought in San Francisco. Also from that batch I got an ms68rd 1997 which was pop 4/0 at the time. But the day I got the grades I left for a trip to Greece, and when I got back Telecoin had made like 3 more of them! Doh! Close to Perfect still bought mine though. I still have a raw 1983 I like better, but am not wasting my money putting it into an ms67rd holder right now like I did with my 1997.

You bet we're having fun! As Water Sport said it's nice to receive encouragement and support from fellow
members. These are the reasons this forum should even exist.

<< <i>Awesome set! How much would a 1965 MS67RD go for these days anyway? >>
The PCGS price guide says $2500. However, we all know the real price is whatever someone is willing to pay. Good question. Has anyone bought or sold one of these lately?
