I know that most of us have other collecting habits other than Coins, mine is Rocks, Minerals, and Gems. I went to a NC Gem and Mineral show last week and bought
this neat Calcified Clam, it about 6 inches across and really unique (I think). I also met with Aethelred while up in the mountains and we did talk and look at coins...

Well y'all can shoot me later fer this post, but I am off to Baltimore in about an hour, for coins this time.....

With those crystals, it looks like the maw of some extraterrestrial monster!

Here's another sea creature (well, part of one) that's turned stony. Aethelred was with me the day I found it- he was down here for a visit after one of the 2003 FUN show.

It ain't the biggest one I've found, but it's definitely the nicest.
