Sims Classic Sports

Over the past several months I have used SimsClassicSports.com to fill holes in my sets.

Has anyone received a response from these guys?

I've contacted them a couple of times regarding a card I had to send back and haven't heard from them.

Just wondering if the Internet is broke or something...image

I sent them back a card a few months ago myself and never heard anything from them. It was only a $5 card so I let it go, but I haven't bought anything from them since. They were very reponsive when I let them know they had sent me the wrong card. Just didn't get the refund. I'm not sure what the case is in your situation.

They made a couple of mistakes on some of my orders last year. I never heard anything back from them when I sent emails. Needless to say, my money has been going elsewhere since then.
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

    I was afraid of that.

It doesn't take much to give decent customer service, and it's pretty clear to me that these guys don't care.

Losing customers over $5 cards is just stupid.

So I guess the next order goes to Naxcom.image
  • I had to call them once when they messed up my order...but that was when they had a office nearby that they used to ship out ebay/internet orders. Since then though, they have changed to a PO Box listing and the office they had used is now occupied by someone else.

The office was just north of Orlando.

I called the number listed in the local phone book for you but it was out of service.

I ordered several cards from them once and they only sent 1 of the cards to me. So I emailed them and they never got back to me, so I called them and they sent the cards about 5 days later.

I would use them but most of the raw stuff they list is way o/c.....I just wonder what makes them purchase this stuff in the first place. You could look through a couple hundred raw cards and be lucky to find 1 or 2 centered ones. I've just about given up on finding anything from them again.
  • I had won several auctions about 4+ years ago and it seemed decent, meaning item was as described. Plus they were good about shipping fast and combing postage on multiple lots. I have not bought from them in at least 3 years.

ExMt or better, lot of trading material.
  • I have won about 40-50 auctions from them and bought cards from their website. Only had one problem and it was resolved quickly. Another time I returned cards that I just wasn't happy with--and agian no problems.

Why not politely ask him a question in his thread on the spam forum? He'll have to respond or you will be killing his selling image.

    Just a thought.
