1983 Cracked Die Reverse

Here is one I finally got scanned. It's (reverse) from the T to the corner of the Memorial. Very easy to see with a magnifying glass or loupe. Anyone else ever encountered this error?

Those are always interesting finds and nice conversation pieces, but if you look enough you'll find a number of die cracks on the backs of cents from that era...they are common.

One I spend effort to bother looking for has cracks on all four corners of the memorial - both sides of the roof and both sides of the base, all four cracks running to the rim. I have found a half dozen of them and know they wouldn't sell for a buck each on a good day, they are just interesting little pieces to find.

    Have fun with them!
