Well I think FRD VI means (Ferdinand VI the king os spain at the time), The M with the little o over it means it was minted in Mexico City, Of course the R2 means 2 Reales. The rest is mainly Heraldty (sp) and of the date.

"Utraque unum" means "from both, one", a reference to the Old and New Worlds (as a Spanish colony).
"Frd VI D G Hisp Et Ind R" means "Ferdinand VI, by the Grace of God, King of Spain and the Indies" ("Indies" being a reference to the New World).
At least, I think it's "Indies". My Latin is a bit rusty.
