Are there any regrets out there collecting coins that you migh care to share? Anything concerning coin collecting at all.

That slabs weren't around when I started collecting. They would have saved me from many costly mistakes and purchases from unscrupulous dealers.

That I missed out on a Greek 1833A 5 drs NGC MS66 by Rarcoa four years ago and I have to content myself with 3 grades lower and still pretend that I'm happy.

That I missed out on important rarities in gem grades at public auctions, while I was still looking for generic dates.

That I forgot to bid on an incredibly toned ,inexpensive gem, a month ago.

That I didn't find this place sooner.

Probably my worst regret is not to hoard on Imperial Russian PROOF 1839 Borodin coin and PROOF 1896 Coronation ruble. Those two are exceeding expensive, if not impossible to get hold of. They were ridiciously cheap when they were sold years ago, but I didn't have the $ at that time. Right now, not only they are ridiciously expensive, but rather, too difficult to find one in the first place.

Wish I had started collecting Dark-side about 5 years sooner than I did. The prices,quantity,and quality were probably at a much higher level in alot of the areas I am interested in.

I can't think of one thing. Maybe i could have attempted specialisation a little sooner?

Otherwise i think i'd do it all again.
