What's wrong with this card?

I knew it looked strange, but it took me a second to figure out why. What's the deal here?

    I have no idea but while looking at this guys auctions the other day I thought something didn't look right so i didn't bid.

    why would someone white out the cert # on such an inexpensive card?

    Ah thats what it is lol......well the Desert shield cards do grab a nice premium but not that much for the Will Clark in 8.

    Odd, isn't it? You can't even check if your $2 card is authentic, or a copy.

    he is a member here desert shield set

    i think it's legit, but why he scanned some and took pictures of others is strange... the scanned pics are 96dpi, which means he editted out the cert # in microsoft paint, which explains the poor quality of the scan.
