Banknotes experts help is needed - owners of Volume 1, please?

My friend asked me, does anybody here know, what is the price for that neat ship banknote in XF+/AU ? Krause tells that it is

Chile P#36 20 pesos 1898 Rare but doesn't tell the price for it at all, as far as I understood. Any thoughts?

A very interesting and nice note! Unfortunately I'm not familiar with it so all I can relate is what is in my book... and based on that, I don't think it is P-36. My book doesn't have a picture for this exact example but it looks like the series is one of overprints on earlier notes. P-35 has the overprint of "EMISION FISCAL" and the date on the reverse. This note doesn't have an overprint so I think it is the referenced provisional note, P-S220. For that you'd need Volume 1 of the Pick books (which I don't have!).

Can anyone here with a Volume 1 tell us about Chile Banco do Curico P-S220?

ATS Notes, a foreign currency dealer is selling an AU Chile S220 remainder note for $50. I also don't have a Vol 1 for the specialized issues so sorry I can't provide more info, but from what I gather the original notes are expensive and rare. There were also some reprints made of recent, but the word "copy" will be somewhere on the note.

The 1998 8th edition I got recently quotes a S220 20 Pesos 'unsigned remainder' at $25 in Unc and a Specimen note at $175 in XF. No other prices or grades listed.

Thanks again, Brad! My friend is asking if that edition :1998 8th edition is actually that so-called Volume 1, that Spoon have mmentioned above, or it is something else? Just haven't any notes books myself

Yep, that is the 8th edition of Vol.1, the Specialized Issues volume.
