8/5/05 -- Just got my grades!!!

Hello all,

Not bad for 35-day turnaround. Cards were received on 8/2 and are posted 8/5 AM. Very happy with this. Here they are. The first two are my father's, and I thought the Ozzie Smith definitely deserved a qualifier (put the gun down Brian!). Here they are........very happy about the Larkin and Mussina. Will put these in the registry tonight.

    Of all the modern stuff, which I don't really like or collect, I do feel that this year of Refractors has a distinct possibility of being great investments for their beauty, relative scarcity, and challenge of finding mint copies. BTW, I love the cards too.

    Hi there, I mailed in the cards via Priority mail on 8/1 (Monday) and they reported the cards today (8/5). And I paid for the "modern" 35-day turnaround time. I'm shocked.

    that is quick! I sent some old coins for the $12/5 day special on saturday and still havent had the grades posted...oh well

    I agree. I've been very happy with eBay for these raw cards. 7 out of my last 40 '93 REFs have come back "10." Thanks Brian.

    I have a 123-card submission that was also received on 8/2. However, I don't think I'll be seeing those grades posted anytime soon. Besides, I do want them to take their time and prove to me that every card is at least a 7 with a bunch of 8s as well (they're 1963). image
