Question for the eBay pros...

I am sure this has happened to someone here, so I am looking for some advice...
Have you ever had someone else use your auction number in their auction title or description without your permission? Is this acceptable by eBay policy?
This has happened to me twice in the past month. The first time, I sold a card for $500, and a week later, someone else lists in their title that auction number ########### just sold for $500. blah blah blah.
Now, someone else is using my auction number in their auction description, saying that auction number ########### is already over $$$, and how they can get this card for less. yada yada yada.
Do I have any recourse against this action?

Nope. It's not against any law, rule, or policy to quote the current bid or result of another auction. If your auction is still going on, it's free advertising for you. People directed to your auction think, "Hmm there must be a reason this one is getting higher bids."
