PMs from Carol, just so we all understand the new terms and conditions.

Carol,
I would like to be sure that I fully understand the following clause of the new terms and conditions.
<< 3. Post or transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation in the Forums (except in those Forums that are designated for buying and selling items, provided such advertising or other solicitation directly relates to such items). You will not post or transmit any chain letters, pyramid schemes or similar schemes in any Forums. >>
In relation to the World and Ancient Forum, can members continue to post what we call "SSP Threads" that is threads in which members draw attention to extra coins they either have for sale or wish to buy? I believe that most members of the WAC Forum appreciate the chance to buy coins from other members as many of us share the same collecting interest. In addition, we post a "Weekend Swap" thread each Friday in which members list coins they have for sale or wish to buy. I have sold several coins and bought many of my better coins using these two types of threads and would hate to lose that resource.
Also, may members continue to display links to an eBay page or website in which that member is offering coins for sale?
In either event I will be happy to abide by the rules as you deem fit and will continue to enjoy these Forums which CU is so kind to provide.
Thanks,
Michael

I don't think that is an issue or even links in signature lines.
I think really what we are going for are the obvious spammers with "Click here and get a free car..." posts. Also, they don't want to encourage pyramid schemes, gambling, etc.

Would you allow me to post your reply on the WAC Forum so that everyone will understand?

That's fine. We really aren't going for sweeping change in this area at this time.
As long as it (selling) stays reasonable and that forum is ok with it, I won't being coming in and making changes.

Same here.
It's summertime and I've been in MD mode, but I still check in here every now and then to eyeball the cool world stuff, and winter is just around the corner.
