I got a lot more stas; Yaz, Bench, Munson, Morgan, Reggie, another Ryan, Palmer, Fingers, Blyleven, Carterm Garvey, Stargell and Sutton. All are boderline 9 on the centering and as far as for the condition, its tough to tell with the OPCs. I think they look pretty good.

I bought the OPC box from BBCE and the Vending box I bough off the Bay. That is my second vendor from the same guy and I am done. I don't think it was searched, just not handled real well.

Dan, the first box yeilded much better results. I did get a Murray but it was about 80/20 L/R as was the majority of the box. No Molly or Ryan. I got about 30 commons that are gradeable, and you know what I mean. I think they have a shot at a 9+. I would never say a card shold get a 10 because you can only set yourself up for disappointment. If you need any low pop. 9's LMK and I may be able to send them to you raw. I don't know how much of this one I will send in. I bought it for $149 so I can't really complain as the first one had some pretty sweet cards. There legit was not one notable player that I feel would grade over an 8 and many of those may get an 8OC.

Oh well. I have compiled a very good amount of the set and have a good start on the stars in 8 or better. I love this set and I am going to find a high grade Speier. It may be my mission in life. Well thats a bit high but I like him better as the Cubs 3rd base coach than Wavin' Wendell Kim.

The OPC are centered suprisingly well. I would be happy with dups of Schmidt and Ryan. Do the OPC sell for a premium over the regular issue?

The grades posted on these. I was a little shocked on the 7's and I thought the Ryan's all had a shot at a 9.

Judging from the scans, I think you should have done better. I think OPC is hit and miss depending on the grader, moreso than Topps. You see OPC cards with rough cuts and bad centering pull 9s, but then sometimes you submit and get mostly 8s. I think these cards have more incosistent PSA grades than anything else. I would consider resubmitting the ones you think should get bumped a grade.

not bad , was there a lot of white flecking on the cards, tough to tell from the scans. I opened a box from bbcexchange and the white flecking was the main issue with the cards, also the back centering may have something to do with it.
