Rename to World & Ancient Slab Forum?

Yeah, yeah, I know its a big thing to entomb your coins over there, but jeez guys have a heart. image

I'm out in the boondocks with no broadband, how about less of the slab and more of the coins in the pictures please.

Wait 5 mins for a coin picture to download and all I'm ending up with is slabs with tiny metal discs in them. imageimageimage

Slabs, what are slabs? All my darkside is raw.

I have been cutting the picture size down! and for us klutzes who are always dropping things! SLABS RULE!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Well that one is free as intended and living in the coin cabinet, as is the French coin.

    Only the ducat is entombed.

Marty what i think Cruzi was referring to is to crop the picture so that it just shows the coin. Which is the approach i generally take, both with the slab i have now and the one i had in the past, infact come to think of it i can't even remember what company slabbed that sovereign i used to have that's how much notice i took of that.

Five minutes? Sheesh, your dialup is fast compared to what I'm stuck with out in the boonies, here.

Which is precisely why I do most of my websurfing at work on a T-1 connection. My puter at home is practically unusable for web browsing.

My computer connection is a fossil too. 56k dialup i think... if i'm lucky.

Takes forever some times, i tend to browse this site more during my lunch break at work where they have some high speed connection. I then memorise which threads i need to respond to and i deal with them when i get home. Since i can never remember my password on this site since i'm still using the one i got given when i joined. I haven't figured out how to change that yet.

To change your password go into your 'profile'. Delete the password there and put a new one in.

But first wait a bit to see if anyone agrees this is how it is done.image
