Looking for a little help on a full box of mint cards and box, it includes a Cal Ripken Jr.
The set was purchased through Donn Jennings in Al. in `82 and is in excellant condition.
Scarcity? value?
Thanks in advance!

The Ripken Jr. has a high BV of $40 and a realistic selling price of about $20 ungraded. Check completed auctions on eBay to compare you cards' condition to thers.
There are some errors in the set that you might be able to get a couple of bucks for. Off the top of my head, there are two Alan Trammel/Trammell errors... one is the Diamond King and one is the base card. Both of the errors are the spelling of the last name. There is an error and a corrected version of the San Diego Chicken card and I believe that there is another common that has an error and corrected error version.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

<< <i>A little off topic, but I've always wondered, is Don Russ related to Berk Russ? >>
Yes. Their cousin is Dun Ross.

If you're interested in getting any of the cards
graded, I would certainly be a direct purchaser.
I am building a high grade 1982 Donruss set and
would be interested in most PSA 10's.

Actually, this wasn't a completely insane question, since the the founders of Dunruss were Donald and Russell. Russell was a friend of mine when I used to live a few blocks from him in Memphis.

Well if it's from Donn Jennings then it's gotta be worth a lot!
