Attention all coin sellers

i know you all hate how much ebay and other auctions take so much money even if you don't have a sale. That is why I started BidCoin.com we now have over 530 members in a little over 2 months. We also have no listing fees (so you only pay when you sell) And for all Collectors Universe users we are offering $5 in credit so you don't have to pay any fees for quite awhile.

And if you have an are a ebay seller or overstock seller with a store and you sign up I will give you an extra $5 credit.

Plus any users open a store at BidCoin.com will get $25 credit (total) and a store only cost $2.95 a month you get the store free for over 8 months!

Good concept. But then again so are Overstock, Amazon, and Yahoo. But they all lack something. You need a buying power at least equal to the force ebay has. I dont know why anyone would sell something for half the price at Bidcoin when they could double there money on ebay. Even if ebay does charge a dollar or two more, you will still realize more in the end on ebay.
  • Well we have reserve prices and everything so it is not like you lose anything. We just ask that you try us out,

  • If you had your PM turned on, I would have sent this message to you privately.

It appears to me that you are using this forum to spam the members about your BidCoin site. To date, more than half of your posts have been related to your new web site. I would appreciate it if you would participate more in discussions.

I clicked on the first catigory that I came to, Proof sets 1936-1942. They were all in the wrong catigory. There wasnt even a proof coin from 1936-1942, much less a proof set. I would have PM'd this to you instead of making an open post, but your PM is off.

  • Don't understand at all. You know that yahoo! auctions recently made theirs completely free and you know you can't compete against something that is totally free, unless you start to offer someone to attract sellers. Rebates wouldn't cut it, unless you have something radicial which I doubt is easy to do. No easy formulas so far I guess.
