8 innings, no runs, no walks, 6 K's, 5 hits, 69 of 95 pitches were strikes. He was called up from Triple-A Tacoma last Thursday after posting a 9-4 record with a 2.24 ERA in 19 games and 14 starts.
<< <i>I am afraid he will not help Beltre and his .438 Seattle Mariners even come close to the Big Dance this year. >>
Not even a $200 million payroll will help the spankees to the big dance this year, either.

Nor will Alan Embree. I see he is still giving up the obligatory home run in each appearance. Guess a change of scenery has not helped yet.
19 year old Felix Hernandez wins again tonight (granted, it was the Royals).
He's now 2-1 with an outrageously low ERA of 0.86.
11 K's tonight and just one walk.
The kid looks incredibly good...probably be the opening day starter next year.
Now you are talking. Start campaigning for him to make ROY and put a pic of him in your signature line. There you go.

It looks like he has mean stuff, but anything could happen.
I'll just sit back and enjoy arguably the best pitching prospect in over a decade.
