I've always wanted the one with the bouquet of flowers on the reverse. Queen's Jubilee, I think it was. What was that, 1977?

Yes it is the 1977, same gold specifications.

There is one on ebay right now @ 204.52 with three days left (I am not affiliated in anyway with seller).

BTW the 1977 Dow port was also issued as a celebration of the silver jubilee

It was at a local Wine Distributor/Retailer. I spend a lot there so the owner gave me some nice pricing on that particular case.

    Thiggy-

If you like the Dow, you should try another symington property, the Quinta do Vesuvio, it is a liitle more fruit forward than the dow, but not as jammy as a Grahams or Fonseca. It comes in a cool wooden crate six pack. I have every year that has been released except the 1988 which was limited. ( I also have a 92 cask sample). The 2003 is on pre-order now, and is getting high marks.

    to keep this On Topic,

Do you want to trade some liquid gold (port) for the real stuff?

3 bottles for a your choice 1/2 oz. proof coin!

I'll think about it and get back to you. I'm going to decant a bottle tonight and then I'll be able to make a more informed decision.
