PCGS Turnaround

Just checked the PCGS website and this is what it says for turn around times for World Economy...."turnaround varies
with demand". Has anyone submitted and gotten results recently and what kind of time line did you have?

I haven't submitted anything to them recently, but my guess is that the turnaround time is much much shorter than it used to be. Between the higher fees and stiffer grading, I think they drove away a lot of customers. You might want to send a PM to Marty and ask him. He submits a lot of coins to all the major TPG companies.

My Greyside Modern crap went 50 days.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

What Marty said......everything this year has averaged about 50 days (doorstep to doorstep).

Darkside coins seem to get put at the bottom of the priority list at PCGS. Can't even use their new photo service for World Coins.

Is that 50 "working days" or 50 actual days.
  • My recent submissions have taken between 35 and 56 actual days for the grades to be posted on the site.
Delivery has added to this time but what can I expect if I live on an Island 30 miles by 13.

My last world economy submission was in and out in an amazing 15 working days. image Grades were conservative but fair, and no "mechanical errors" ...except for one Prussian Commemorative being slabbed backwards image or maybe it's image or image - Preussen

Hmmm ... somebody noticed a certain submission has been entered into the system ... image

Tho' I am beginning to wonder about their turnaround times as I have one world economy approaching 60 calendar days and still nothing ... image
