    Yankees lose again (after being up 4-0!), Cano makes (another) error, and Boston wins again, stretching the division lead to 4.5 games. More importantly, Oakland continues to tear, stretching their wild card lead after last night to 2 games.

    Yankees looking more and more like they'll be sitting out this postseason!

    I think he found his good friend Murcerfan under there, and they've become, uhm, 'comfortable' shall we say?

    To add insult to injury, Bernie's option for 2006 wasn't exercised, as he was due to make $16 million. Batting .250 with less than 10 HRs and a defensive liability, can you blame them? It will be interesting to see if he returns, and if so, will the Yankees make the smart move and cut him free?

    The Yanks might be out of the race in a week or so - they'll have to make a run for the wild card. But, even that is dicey considering the starting pitching. Hope Gemmy / Murcerfan have enough food under there...

    he is on a religous pilgrimage.......he is camped out by the monuments in yankee stadium soaking up all that was and is YANKEE....once his mind and body are replenished he will be back to post yankee spam but in a highly spiritual way.

    Don't worry, he'll be here tonight. The Yanks won, and the Sultan Of Shot hit 2 more HR's.

    Evil Empire finally beats Tribe....

    Flash!!!! Umpire asks AROD for autograph after game after giving him two outside pitches that were strikes all night for those whose autos he already had....what a joke.

    Would have been first home sweep of Yanks for Tribe since 1970....yes 1970

    You mean the sultan of steroids?

    Exactly. A few guys on NY sports radio refer to him as the "Sultan Of Shot", which shows you what they think of him, even today.
