To answer the ?? from stingray, carew and morrellman, I am collecting just baseball. Collecting graded cards is fairly new to me so what I am in the process of doing is buying a graded card from each year of the topps issue from 1952 through 1980 (hall of famers only). After I finish that, I would like to work on a 1965 graded set. RJ

That HOF set sounds very cool - are you going for 29 different or does that not matter?

Winpitcher is a one of our resident '65 experts - what a great set. Why 1965?

I think the 1965 topps is an attractive set. Also, the Mantle, Clemente, Aaron and other big names are priced some what reasonable for my budget unlike the 1956 which I would love to own. I probably wont start the set until next year unless I find a good common lot on ebay at a good price. RJ

That sounds pretty cool, I have often thought about having one PSA 8 card from each year, does not need to be a HOFamer though. If I could afford to do one set, I would also do the 1956 set, that has and always be my favorite. Good luck.
