If Charles (coppercoins) does not post to this thread, check out his website: www.coppercoins.com. Do a search and you should be able to find it. I think he's been pretty busy lately. image

I do believe that's #6, and it's a tough one! All of the 1941D RPMs seem to be tough to locate. What grade is that one?

Is there a bit of doubling on the 4?

i believe there is some controversy about there being a "blunt top"

number 4 that was hubbed over a sharp top 4 ...or vice versa

I'm not aware of this on 1941 cents, but there is such a doubled die for 1949S. All 1948 cents had a sharp top and all 1949 cents had a squared off top. This shows evidence of both on a 1949S cent.

This '41 shows both on the "4". I have seen the hubbing differences on the '49S as you have mentioned. I will get better pics this evening.

This is indeed RPM # 6 or 1941D-1MM-006. The mintmark placement matches the one in my files. Nice looking coin. There is no blunt/pointed top 4 on this one. It is a hit on the number.

Still has a lot of red in it. Not to sure about the hit, but it is doubled.

Eyoung - your coin appears to grade AU55-AU58. Can't tell which without being able to see the luster myself.

Razorface - In BU most of the 1941D RPMs sell for $20-$25. I would guess that's a premium image
