Every Willie Mays card graded in one auction...

Not sure what to make of this. So many PRO cards mixed in. Should be interesting, if it's legit, which I believe it is.

I saw this too. I suspect that anyone with the coin to bid on and win this auction will know the "value" of the PRO holders, so it'll be interesting to watch the action.

Not everyone knows that inside the plastic dungeon of a PRO holder lies a POS, altered and trimmed card.

If you look at his feedback, you can see he bought many of these PSA cards off ebay so I believe it is legit.

Man it hurts to see that many nice cards ruined by a blade!

A really good looking PSA 6 turned into a Pro 8 or 9? Crying shame!

Why doesn't everyone understand that a PSA 5 or 6 vintage star card is miles ahead of a trimmed PRO 8 or 9 in terms of value, fundamentally and financially? The thought of so many insane people having access to razor blades and X-acto knives is frightening.

That 52 Bowman definetly looks trimmed to me, the borders are fine except that left one is smaller than the other three.

Looks like a bad trim job along the left edge. Looks waved.

Here's how to bid on this auction:

    1. Add up your perceived value of all the PSA and BVG graded cards included in this auction.

    2. Bid that amount.

Actually the only safe way is to add up all the PSA cards and bid that amount. I don't trust Beckett any farther than I can throw their crooked company.

For the curious, here's what we've got for SMR. I knocked the OC cards down 2 grades, which may be excessive for a 9 OC Mays is probably worth more than a straight 7. Two cards I couldn't find in the current SMR. Total is $7,210. That's just the raw full SMR value, and of course doesn't consider high end/low end grades - especially considering the centering on the top two PSA cards isn't very good, I'll be mildly shocked if it meets or surpasses that number...
