Why is there such a diference in price?

OK can someone tell me why these two auctions for the same PCGS graded coin had such a diference in closing prices.
One of them has lousy pictures and the other had no picture. But who needs a picture of a slabed coin.
Coins one sold for $31.00 in this auction. 2005-D MS68SF CA 25c
Coin number two sold for $14.00 or less than half the other.2005-D CA MS68SF
BTW the first coins shipping is also twice as high as the second.
Yes I won the cheaper of the two and I have bought from this dealer before with good results.

Well, it's possible that the person did not see SF and presumed it was a regular strike. That would account for the difference in price. Either that or someone just paid more. I see it all the time. Some sellers get lucky, others don't.

Lots of people like to see a picture of the actual coin they're buying, slabbed or not. That can drive the price up. And yes, some sellers do get lucky. I've seen cases where the opposite of this happens -- a nice auction description with good pictures ends lower than an auction with no pictures and a poor description. Go figure!
