I must have missed the part of him being "kicked out"

    I agree Koby.

It's just not fair. He's only trying to raise some dough so he can keep up his search for "the real killers."

Far too easy to potshot from my easy chair, but here goes....

Q: How do we know that Thurman Thomas didn't kill O.J.'s ex-wife?
A: Thurman would have fumbled the knife.

    Yikes

Thurman Thomas would not have been able to find the knife, ala his helmet in the Super Bowl.

Yeah, I saw Dominque signing, my borther wanted his autograph, but he though $50 was a little steep for an 8 X 10, plus they ran out of them for about a 1/2 hour. Did anyone see that Virgil dude. I have seen him set up at the Gilbraltar shows here in Michigan. Just one table with a bunch of 8 x 10. He will try to stop you and talk you into getting one. It is almost sad.

How sad is it that so many people were lining up for OJ's autograph?

How sick is it that the overwhelming evidence was against him killing Nicole and Ron, but people will give him money for a signature?

What, is he trying to pay for his DirectTV judgement?

Damn, I thought that was him and pointed him out to my wife, but he was a bit fatter and greyer and I thought there was no way someone would dare have a murderer signing autographs (although one auction house has no reservations about including murderers autos in their auctions)
Who was the dealer that had him? There were only a few people around the table, and if word had gotten out I think it would've caused much more of a scene.

The reason O.J. can't be at announced signings is because the Goldman's representatives
show up and confiscate all the money he makes towards the judgement he owes them for killing their son.

I saw him come in surrounded by his blond crack ho and hired goon squad
and almost yelled out 'Hey Murderer' but I didn't want to get kicked out of the show.

Still had lots more cards to look at. image

Ax, it's real sad and I don't get it. It's time for OJ to fade away.

I missed him at the show... was too busy looking at everything... but I think it is absolutely ridiculous that a dealer is not allowed to bring in someone to sign autographs. The only problem I could see is congestion around the booth, but if done right, it wouldn't be too difficult to handle. There was plenty of space in that place. If the dealer paid for the booth, the hosts of the convention are obviously concerned about getting their cut of everything, but I just don't see how they could limit someone's business like that. What if OJ purchased the booth himself, it would be illegal of him to sit there and sign autographs, perhaps even sell his book and sign it for the buyer? No different than any other booth, he was selling or promoting something.

The issue is why would anyone want his autograph. Some do, clearly.

He was a Heisman winner and the first 2000 yards rusher. I proudly own a PSA/DNA Authenticated signed Bills home jersey.

If it was mine i'd sell it and give the proceeds to a charity that helps battered women or something. To "proudly" own something like that is a little low class.

People actually were booing him when he left. Later that evening, OJ did sign items at the Embassy Suites for nearly an hour. He was charging the same prices.

    Knock, Knock.
    Who's there?
    O.J.
    O.J. Who?
    OK, you're on the jury!

OJ Simpson is laying in the middle of Santa Monica Boulevard and threatening to set himself on fire with gasoline if he doesn't get enough donations to help him pay the judgements against him. This incident has backed up traffic for miles. A police officer is going car to car asking for donations so OJ will move.
A guy in a sports car calls the officer over and asks, "What is going on?"
The officer replies, "Well OJ can't handle the 30 million loss due to the civil suit so we're asking for donations, or he'll set himself on fire."
The guy in the car asks, "Well how much have you collected so far?"
The officer replies, "About fifteen gallons."

Q: What did Ron Goldman say to Nicole when he arrived in heaven?
    Here's your f***ing glasses!

But before leaving, Simpson signed 115 autographs (at $100-$125 apiece) and posed for numerous pictures. He stayed at Justin Communications' booth about 75 minutes.

Pathetic and sad. A curse on all those who own his autograph.

    Loves me some shiny!

The guy needs help, always did and always will.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!
  • Hey,

I have to agree with many on this thread, I have no desire to own his autograph. My HOF football auto collection will have to stand alone with OJ being the only missing member.

I was actually plucking cards from Etta's table (the organizer of the National) when someone came over and told her that OJ was there signing autographs and charging $125/pop. She smiled at me, looked up at him and said "He IS NOT supposed to be here". Security was then escorting his scandalous a$$ out the door. I went back to her table after that fiasco and spoke with her about it. Apparently he had tried to get in before the show started and she asked dealers and other autograph guests if they objected, from the sounds of it, most did. So he was told not to show up. Apparently he just rolled in early that afternoon with a table and a credit card machine and started signing. One guy came over and showed another dealer his "Chicago Knife Club" poster that OJ signed. I heard there were several people who essentially paid just to harrass him ("Hey, murderer can you sign this?"). I wasn't standing there so I don't know for sure, but that was the rumor going around. image

I could tell that the dealers across from where he was signing were getting iritated. The was always a group that seemed to be standing around just looking at him. Was not very organized for signing. But then again I do not think that many people were paying for his autograph, just wanted to seem him in person.
