This 38 mm Silver medal commemorates Wilhelm II's visit to Breslau in 1888 (the year of his coronation as German Kaiser & King of Prussia). 1888 was known to Germans as the "three Kaiser year" because both Kaiser Wilhelm I and his son Kaiser Friedrich III died, leaving the throne to Wilhelm II. As I'm sure many of you know, Wilhelm II was a Grandson of Queen Victoria.
