The Yankees get to Poindexter!!!!

Just LOVING it and Chacon pitched great but the bullpen except Mo stunk. K-Rod has always had the tendency to be wild and I always wondered why the Yankees were not more patient with him. Well today the Yanks batters were very patient and got to the little jumping twit. He walked 4 batters incuding walking in a run and became unnerved. I hope this is a precursor of things to come when the Yankees face him.

And what's this deal with Embree and the incestuous relationship going on with the Red Sox? First David Wells and now this. Who freaking needs it? LOL

Prince Punk?? The man has one of the nastiest breaking pitches I have ever seen. Would that moniker hold true if he was wearing pinstripes?

How come no mention of Al Leiter's wildness the other night when he walked 7 batters in 5 innings, yet a pitcher not on the spankees has 'control problems' in walking 4, becoming 'unnerved'.

Spammy you really are a sad, sad little man.

Leiter only gave up 1 run in 5 innings despite his wildness. Poindexter gave up 3 runs in 1 inning. OUCH.

I think KRod got unnerved when he lost a very close battle with Sheff - some very close calls including a check swing which looked like a strike but was not called by the 1st base ump.

I do agree tho - Yanks were patient and it paid off! Especially the ARod - KRod ~ "spare the Rod" matchup where ARod showed good restraint - didn't swing at any bad pitches.

And Mat closed the deal! Good game.

Time if flying - fall will be here before ya know it!

I'll give the Yankees credit where credit is due. They were pumped up after that win. They showed more emotion there, than anytime during the Red Sox playoff loss last season. If they keep that up, they are going to be tough to keep out of the World Series.

It took you almost 5 hours to photoshop that? You should ask stown for help image

The yanks were patient, I'll give them credit. But how long is krod's leash? Or is the angel bullpen just exhausted from their 18 inning affair?

No it took less than 5 minutes. Originally I had two photos, one of Felix's friend and another of K-Rod with his regular glasses but I liked the Poindexter's glasses better on K-Rod. I think after today his nickname should be changed to F-Rod, W-Rod or even NimRod.

I tell you, I want to know what's gotten into Roid Droid?

And the funniest thing? He's better than anyone on the current yankees pitching staff...in fact, you'd be drooling on yourself if they picked him up (oh wait, you drool on yourself already!)

Why make Giambi into a pitcher? He is hitting Home Runs left and right. You want to do a reverse Babe Ruth? LOL

Are you that slow? The point of this thread was an attempted knock at a pitcher who had an off day and how hypocritical you are. He'd be the best pitcher on the yankees staff if he were there.

No that is you. It was a joke. You were responding to my Roid Droid post.

Why don't you look at the times of the posts spamboy.

They posted at the same exact time.

I'd say that is primarily to blame. This kid (K-Rod) has amazing stuff, and has owned the Yanks (and other teams) time and time again this year. I still believe the season series is in the Angels favor - by quite a bit. So, calm down Spammy...
