This is a 44 millimeter diameter White Metal medal commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Reign of Queen Victoria of The United Kingdom. The obverse has a bust of the Queen . Reverse shows India Empire with the dates 1837-1897. The medal was produced by Spink & Son "




1901 Queen Victoria Death Medal in Aluminum. 38mm 8grms. This has to be one of the first medals stamped in Aluminum as it had just been discovered. Considering it's age and medal , it has held up very well

Very cool! Funny how the first one refers to her as "kaisar" (reverse). Is that common or am I just now noticing? Cool monograms too.

spoon, Maybe it's an India thing. I have not seen that on coinage though from the area.
