Good deals? (1948 Leaf, 1952 Topps)

I've started buying GAI/BVG graded material on eBay, not particularly because I like them as grading companies (in fact, I much prefer PSA) but because I think that they are a good value, especially for what I collect (1948 Leaf/Bowman mostly). Do you guys think I got a decent deal on these three auctions I recently won? I figure the Robinson is no better than a 2 if crossed, but that the latter 2 both have a shot at a 7 (maybe not the 6.5 one).

1952 Topps Luke Easter GAI 7

1952 Jim Russell GAI 6.5

I think you got a very good deal on the Russell, a decent deal on the Easter, and on the Robinson I don't know - I'm appalled that GAI would give a card with that sort of paper loss on the front a 3.
