I changed jobs and have moved my family to Kannapolis, NC. Anyone know where the good coin shows and dealers are at around here??

Independence Coins in Charlotte is a good coin store that's about an hour or so away from you. There are a few dealers that have shops in the Lake Norman Area at all of the shows, I've never been to their shops though. The big coin show in NC is in Hickory and is coming up in September. Smaller shows in Charlotte, Albemarle, Raleigh, Mooresville, Winston-Salem and in a few other locations nearby are worth going to in order to get to know the dealers. The same dealers pretty much are at all of these smaller shows, they tend to bring stuff you are interested in to the next show once they know you. Here is a link to show when and where the shows are.

There are 2 coin shows a year at the Mechandise Mart on Independence Blvd in Charlotte. If you watch in the back of Coin World or Numismatic News they will tell the dates under coin shows.
